Beijing City Central Youth Hostel is located at the northwest corner of Beijing Zhan Qianjie, across from the Beijing Railway Station. The bus terminal, airport shuttle bus stop and taxi stands are next to the railway station, and Beijing Zhan subway station (Exit A) is just outside the door.
On the first and second floors levels you'll find a 24-hour supermarket, breakfast bar, coffee lounge, ATM, IC/IP phones, express film processing, and a post office, while on the third floor you will find areas to relax, cook and much more.
This is the largest, best located and highest standard hostel in Beijing, every room has central air conditioning and individual controls. The guest rooms on the third to sixth floors include suites, double rooms, single rooms, four- and eight- bunk dormitories.
Around the nearby Henderson Centre are fast food outlets plus an abundance of cheap and cheerful 'homestyle' restaurants in the area. The Henderson Centre also houses a department store, and in the vicinity you'll find medical clinics, dental care, pharmacies, bookstores, and souvenir shops. ATM facilities can be found in the many banks along Jianguo Men Nei Dajie, just to the north of the hostel.
The hostel adjoins the central business districts of Dong Dan and Wangfujing, where you can find every imaginable eatery, from exquisite Cantonese restaurants to simple street stalls.
Tian'an Men Square, the Forbidden City (Gu Gong), The Temple of Heaven (Tian Tan), the Ancient Observatory (Gu Guanxiang Tai), Bei Hai Park, Tai Miao, and Wangfujing Dajie shopping street are all a short ride from the hostel.
We can arrange group activities such as visits to acrobatic shows and art galleries; in-house instruction in Ikebana, calligraphy, and Chinese painting; and an introduction to preparing spicy Sichuanese cuisine.

Walking on the Great Wall from Jinshanling to Simatai. The structure of Jinshanling was mainly built in 1570 of Ming Dynasty and it was a well-preserved fortification system as well as natural fantastic scenery. Simatai Great Wall is highly recommended by the publication Lonely Planet. The hostel organizes daily tours for you to walk on the Great Wall from Jinshanling to Simatai. Along the way you will enjoy the beautiful scenery and you will bring home many pleasant memories, the cost of 90 RMB includes transportation only. Tours also available to the Badaling and Ming Tombs the price of 180 RNB includes transportation, all fees, lunch and English guide. The Summer Place tour includes tours to the Temple of Heaven, Forbidden City, Tian'an men Square along with the Summer palace included for 230 RMB are; transportation, all fees, guide, and lunch. Beijing Opera at Liyuan Theatre, with its traditional setting is on regular live performances either English subtitles everyday. Acrobatics at Wansheng Theatre is first-class acrobatic show given by the Beijing Acrobatic Troupe, which was founded in 1957.

Directions:
Arriving by air: Take the "C" line of the Capital Airport shuttle bus to the terminus at Beijing Railway Station (Beijing Zhan) or Beijing International Hotel, (West Gate of the Hotel).
Arriving by train: (Beijing Zhan, Beijing Railway Station): The hostel is at the northwest corner of the station square. When you come out of the station, the hostel is diagonally opposite (slightly to your left).
Arriving by train: (Xi Ke Zhan, Beijing West Train Station): Take bus No.703 to Beijing Railway Station (Beijing Zhan). |
