Shanghai International Youth Hostel located at the intersection of Wuning Lu and Zhongshan Bei Lu at Shanghai Putuo district. It's close to Jingan Temple commercial district. About 200m away is the metro "Caoyang Rd.". It will cost about 20mins from the hostel to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and about 40mins to Shanghai Pudong International Airport by taxi.
Shanghai City Central Youth Hostel is the largest hostel in Shanghai at present. There are 150rooms in the hostel. The rooms are comfortable include ensuites, doubles, singles, and 4 bed dormitories with air-conditioner and individual controls in each of the rooms. The hostel offers a computer/internet room, billiards, bar. There is a breakfast bar, coffee lounge, IC/IP phones in the hostel. Nearby the hostel there is a 24-hours supermaket, ATM, IC/IP phones,K FC, Mc'Donald, Bi Feng Tang restaurant, Bank and post office.

Arriving by air:
From Hongqiao Airport:
1) Take taxi only 15 minutes to the hostel and cost about 35RMB.
2) Take Bus No.941 get off at ZhongShan park,change subway Line3/4 to CaoYang RD Station
From Pudong Airport:
1) Take shuttle bus No.5 to Shanghai train station, then change metro line 3/4 get off at Caoyang Lu station.
2) Take taxi only 40 minutes and cost about 180RMB.
3) Take shuttle bus No.2 to Hangzhanlou Jin'an Temple then change bus No. 94 to Wuningxincun Sta.. If take a taxi from Jin'an Temple about 15RMB.
